Contracting
Helical Systems has its own trained contractors to survey, assess and install all it products to a good quality of workmanship at a competitive price.

Crackstitching

This is a basic form of masonry reinforcement and is used to reinforce/stitch the failed cracked brickwork. The HeliTie Bar (Part 1) in combination with the Heligrout 25 (Part 2) adds tensile strength to the masonry and ties in loose and spalling brickwork.
Wall Tie Replacement

Where wall ties have failed due to corrosion or have not been installed properly or even not installed at all!, HeliIties are installed to tie into inner leaf of masonry/timber to Australian Standards (AS3700 and AS2699) and a pull out test can be performed on site to insure correct installation to satisfy the builder or structural engineer. The initial survey is backed up with a comprehensive report.
Remedial Screw Piling

Where underpinning is required to a failed strip footing, this system is fully engineered. A lead section of GroundScrew is screwed into the soil
immediately adjacent to the exposed footing. Extensions are fitted to the lead GroundScrew to achieve the required depth. A jacking cap, incorporating a supporting plate, is placed on the GroundScrew and located underneath the footing. The jacking cap is then raised with a hydraulic ram to support the foundation and to prevent further
subsidence. This procedure can be repeated throughout the property to fully underpin the
structure.
